If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Applied Innovation is a methodology that is best suited to tackle the world’s most difficult, pressing and usually - complex, undefined, or unknown problems.
The infinite-game of disruptive innovation is the domain of the crowd. It is a constant cycle of divergence and convergence because at each point of the innovation process, an outside perspective is universally needed to reduce risk and ensure success. It is where the best ideas are discovered and delivered. Where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Where surprise and the unexpected rule. And where new growth, new jobs, & new revenue are the order of the day.
Learners of our Lab will be able to earn a certificate in Applied Innovation from the University of Toronto and a professional designation from The Logistics Institute. The certificate will be available through an online, asynchronous program available to distance learners around the world. It will also be available to individuals with facilitated instruction onsite at the Lab.
